Adam J. Kleinfeldt joined Deutsch Atkins & Kleinfeldt, P.C. in March of 2015.  He primarily represents individuals in employment litigations such as discrimination, retaliation, and whistle blowing matters.  He has extensive experience in all phases of the litigation process. Adam has obtained significant results for some of his clients, including a $525,000 jury verdict in a sexual harassment case, a $650,000 settlement in a gender discrimination and retaliation case, a $1,100,000 settlement in a gender bias case, and a $2,000,000 settlement for a group of police officers in a racial harassment and retaliation case.

Prior to joining Deutsch Atkins, Adam was a Partner at a Northern New Jersey law firm, where he chaired the Firm’s employment litigation department. He has previously worked for major law firms (first McCarter & English and then Proskauer Rose) where he represented and counseled employers in employment related matters.

Since 2015, Adam has been included as a “Super Lawyer”* by Thomson Reuters in New Jersey Monthly Magazine. In 2014, Adam was included in the Thomson Reuters list of New Jersey Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars*, an honor given to only 2.5 percent of New Jersey attorneys. He was also recognized as a “New Leader of the Bar” by the New Jersey Law Journal. Adam is admitted to the practice in New Jersey, New York, the U.S. District Court of New Jersey, and the U.S. Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is affiliated with the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and is a member of the New Jersey Chapter of NELA (National Employment Lawyers Association).
